The Network Appliance Business team within PFU Systems Inc. is looking for a Field Sales Engineer for our Sunnyvale, CA office.
 
This person should be a hunter-type, highly motivated individual, energetic and a self-starter. In this role, this person would technically support new customers, partners, and technically qualify sales opportunities. This candidate needs to possess the technical skills to work with technology partners that integrate our technology with end users, and with the end users directly. The qualified candidate will need to be able to identify and maintain new business opportunities with customers and partners, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, manage tasks and have the communication skills to keep both the customer and management informed of the status.  The qualified candidate would have the following background:
 Job Responsibilities
  • Target, establish and technically enable partners and new end-users for iNetSec Smart Finder.
  • Technically support the end users throughout the sales cycle from qualification, deployments until purchasing stage.
  • Enable, maintain and support partners to sell and promote iNetSec Smart Finder.
  • Promote iNetSec technically to potential users at events, tradeshows and seminars.
  • Identify and understand competitive products and assure knowledge of iNetSec advantages.
  • Work with management to communicate required enhancements and product feedback.
  • Work with Marketing to create content and materials to use for demand generation.
  • Work with the Alliances team supporting integrations
  • Create all over product awareness.
Qualifications

 

Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales engineering with a focus in network security.
  • Must have some experience in networking security.
  • Proven experience with networking technology including switch configurations, network communications, layers and protocols, network security appliances and software.
  • History of building and maintaining a community of relevant customers and partners.
  • Have the ability and desire to travel domestically and internationally up 60% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field. (We also welcome candidates with equivalent professional experience and technical skills).
  • Experience in B2B and SMB sales processes.
  • Experience in cold calling is a plus.
 Abilities
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Self-Starter with a “can do” attitude
  • Capable of accomplishing goals and objectives with little or no direct management assistance.
  • Ability to work in a “startup” like environment serving various roles outside of main responsibilities
  • Spanish – English bilingual a plus

Channel Sales Representative – Sunnyvale, California

The Network Security Appliance Business unit within PFU Systems Inc. (www.inetsec.com) is looking for a Channel Sales Representative for our Sunnyvale, CA office.

This person should be a hunter-type, highly motivated individual, energetic and a self-starter. He/She will be able to call on C-Level managers and top IT executives, follow up sales leads to closing while managing and developing several assigned channel partners and alliance partners across multiple regions and do some cold calling. This person will also support partner and customer events.

Duties Include:

  • Responsible for managing and generating sales leads to closure with channel partners.
  • Follows sales leads from tradeshows, partner events, product demonstrations and customer events for referrals to Sales Team and Channel Partners.
  • Manages a set of channel and alliance partners and makes sure they are well trained.
  • Supports tradeshows and partner events.
  • Maintains excellent relationship with partners through regular visits and relationship building
  • Prepares weekly and monthly channel activity and revenue reports.
  • Actively recruits new partners in new regions and develops training schedules

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills (including on the phone)
  • Must have 2-3 year experience working with channel and alliance partners, channel development, prospecting and closing sales, value-based sales experience background.
  • 2-3 year experience doing sales, lead generation, cold calling, business development, prospecting and closing opportunities, value-based sales experience background.
  • Networking or network security industry knowledge.
  • Experience working with Channel Partners is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or Advertising.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
  • Ability to learn and passion for new technologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM and email-Marketing software such as Sales Force and Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • High familiarity with computers, internet, smart phones and tablets.
  • Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Excellent organizational planning and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good phone voice and customer service capabilities are also desirable.
  • English-Spanish bilingual a plus
